Heray Food Industry has been baking biscuits, wafers and confectionery in Herat since 1993. This policy covers this website and the enquiries, orders and chat conversations that reach us through it.

When you send the contact form we receive your name, the phone number or email address you enter, and your message. When you place an order we receive your name, phone number, delivery details and the items in your cart. When you ask about distribution we receive the company and territory details you provide.

You choose what to send. We do not ask for identity documents, payment card numbers or any other sensitive details through this site, and you should not enter them.

Your cart is kept in your browser's local storage under the name heray-cart so it survives a page reload. Your answer to the cookie banner is stored the same way. Your language is part of the web address, not a stored profile.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or social media pixels. Clearing your browser storage for this site removes your cart and your consent choice.

The chat window answers product questions using an AI service provider. What you type there is sent to that provider to generate a reply. Please keep those messages to product and ordering questions and do not share personal details you would not want processed that way.

To answer your enquiry, to prepare and deliver your order, to review distribution requests, and to keep ordinary business records. We also use what people ask us in aggregate to decide which products to photograph, describe or stock better.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Only where it is needed to do what you asked: our own staff, the delivery or distribution partner handling your order, our email provider, WhatsApp when you choose to contact us there, and the AI provider behind the chat assistant. Each receives only what that task requires.

We may also disclose information where a law or a lawful order requires it.

Enquiries and order records are kept for as long as we need them for the order, for our accounts and for any legal obligation, and are then deleted or archived. Browser storage stays until you clear it.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — call +93 799 090 837 or use the contact form. You can withdraw your consent to optional storage at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the cookie banner back.

The site is served over HTTPS and access to the admin area is restricted. No website can promise perfect security, so please send anything genuinely confidential by phone instead.

This site is aimed at customers, shops and distributors, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will remove them.

If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
